Snow fortress

The puppies built a snow fortress they could hide in.  They were having a good ol' time in their fortress, having snow fights and throwing snowballs at the kittens.

Snow kitten

The kitties built a snow kitten in the yard.

Sledding

Hamster, bunny and octopus had some fun sledding down the slopes in their little sleds. Octopus found that a shell makes a very good sled!

Apple tree fun

The birdies found a snow crusted apple tree and sat on the branches whistling a happy tune. The monkeys followed the sound and climbed the tree for some hanging around fun.

Sleigh ride

The little pony harnessed herself to a sleigh and took a little monkey girl for a sleigh ride through the white snowy world.

Christmas of the LPS

So it is Christmas... The Littlest Pet Shop animals gathered out to the snowy yard for their yule celebrations, with a little Christmas tree they got from a fallen pine branch. They sang their carols and danced around the Christmas tree and had a jolly good time.

Motorcycle ride

Raccoon and skunk found an old motorcycle with a side carand took it out for a ride.

 

The ladybug and the snail

On her adventures in the garden, the ladybug enouctered a curious snail.

Garden adventures

While exploring the garden, the little pets found a whole new world. The skunk decided to make home in a flower pot with several nice balconies. The bumble bee was flying around when it noticed the squash flowers and went to sniff them. The piggy was feeling hot in the sun and took a dip in the dog's water bowl. The lizard munched on a mushroom he found on the lawn. The little pony found out that the garden can be a dangerous place too and you can get eaten by the dog if you're not careful!

Kitty-ride

Three little kitties wanted to go for a joyride too. They got an old fluffy cat to agree to take them for a ride. So they tied a soft pink basket on the cat's back and off they went, trotting in the garden.

Bunnies out for a snack

The bunnies heard the call of the garden. They went to look for all those things that filled the air with a sweet smell. First they found the squash, with small leaves and small flowers for the summer was so cold for so long. Next to the squash they found a raw strawberry a bird had dropped there after it had taken a bite of it. Those did not taste so good in their mouth so they hopped along, finding the paradise: the box of salad.

Saving the pets

Some little pets were roaming around the house on a rainy day and found an iPad unlocked, a game of Bubble Witch Saga 2 on the screen. They hauled a cellphone on the keyboard the iPad was sitting on, and started shooting bubbles to save the little pets in the game.

LPS in pencil

My daughter 11yo made some pencil drawings of Littlest Pet Shop pets last spring, images from the LPS PC game. Here's a collage of the drawings, with a little color added.

Ladybug floating away on a leaf

The little ladybug found a dried leaf, hauled it up on a tall fence, and went gliding through the air on the leaf.

The puppies' picnic day

Seven little puppies wanted to go on a picnic by the pond. They packed a basket full of juicy bones and snacks, a blanket and a radio in the car they borrowed from the Teeny Town Girls and set off on a nice sunny day. They drove through the grassy field to the pond, set the blanket on the ground and blasted their stereo. Some little doggies went swimming, jumping and sliding to the water, others just enjoyed the picnic under the shade of a big strawberry leaf.

Monkeys' secret garden

The monkeys had been just hanging around in the garden. They became bored and restless and started to explore the garden a nit more. They found a passage way to a secret garden. This garden had colorful birds singing in the trees and huge flowers growing right next to purplish mountains and a sea of dolphins.

Butterfly

The little butterfly loves to flutter around in the garden. It visited the birds in the trees and flew around sniffing all the flowers.

The magic feather

The hermit crab and the little gecco had been looking at the dragonflies and the butterfly flutter around, and they started to think that they would love to fly too. If only for a little while, if only for a brief moment in the wind. Their wish was heard by the crows that came to the garden to pick on the strawberries, and a friendly crow gave the hermit crab and gecco a magic feather that they could fly on for one gleaming wonderful flight.

The hamsters' joyride

The little hamsters wanted to go for a ride. So cunningly they snuck up on the dog while she was sleeping and put a little saddle on, and sat there waiting patiently. When the dog woke up, the little hamsters held on tight to the reigns and their snacks (mind you, they never go anywhere without their snacks!) and off they were. The world became a blur and the hamsters got the ride of their life!

Kitten's fishing trip

One of the kittens was very adamant at getting some fresh fish. Since the little pond only had a couple fish - his friends at that - the little kitten decided to take a trip down to the big river to fish a bit. The fish didn't bite this time, though. Maybe it was too hot, too sunny, too windy or who knows what. The kitten returned home with empty paws. But not before he had waved a hello to a friendly frog who was floating down the stream in his leaf boat.

Kitties' day at the pond

The four little kitties were bored, lying around in the same old toy box. They didn't even know what a bright warm summer day it was outside, until the box lid was opened and they got out to explore the world for the first time in a long long time.

They found a little pond, with a little fish swimming around and decided to spend their day right there by the pond. Had they liked water, they migh've taken a dip, but since they didn't, they were content with bathing in the warm sun, admiring their own reflections on the still surface of the pond. And no, they did not try to catch and eat the fish!

Adventures of the Littlest Pet Shop

My daughters are really beyond the LPS age already, two of them in their teens already and even the youngest one a frisky pre-teen. Still, they (apart from the oldest one who donated all of her LPS pets to the youngest one a couple of years ago) have their LPS pets stashed away in boxes, like treasures.

I was sitting on the patio today, looking at our little garden, thinking once again, that I'd really like to come up with some creative project, to stream my creative energy to something new again (I mean, I already have a half a dozen active blogs; some for mainly writing stuff, others mainly photo-blogs), when it came to me.

The Littlest Pet Shop pets deserved a new life after being forsaken by the girls. So I went to dig out the pets and gave them a chance to do all sorts of cool things in our garden, taking pics of them along the way. The photos are now waiting to be processed and posted here along with their stories.

Today was one day of adventures, only time will tell what all the LPS pets will end up doing!
